How to remove and clean the looper in the Juki LBH-1790A hole punch
Today I will show you how to perform this simple operation, especially that then we can clean it well and polish the blade so that it does not break the upper thread.
We start with tilting the machine to the side, removing the bobbin case and unscrewing the grip hook holder (when screwing, screw it in the same position because it has adjustments, it is usually in the middle)
We loosen the 2 screws on the hexagon and the catcher will come out
After removing it you can see a swab from the lubrication, which has to hit the looper’s hole, but more on that later
We can go for the catcher
The arrow is marked by flattening, thanks to which we will not change its setting and this large hole will hit the swab from the lubrication
Turn it to the 2nd side and unscrew 3 screws marked in the picture
After unscrewing, we can undress it
Now we can clean it thoroughly and polish the tip with P2000 paper
And the most difficult thing is waiting for us in this whole operation – inserting the treadmill. Only fits in one place, otherwise she will not want to jump in (this is the place)
We turn everything into a pile and should sew 🙂
Film as it sews after the procedure
If anyone would ask, it should be set
