Emergency repair of transport teeth

Today’s entry is dedicated to the Łucznik 884 machine but it will also work in other home machines.

When the machine suddenly stops pulling the material, it is likely that the gears that are responsible for the movement of the feed teeth have changed.

Attention is only an emergency repair, in this case you have to replace both gears (and it is best to replace also 2 conical gears from the catcher). This manual may not work, because you often have a second sprocket.

We start by unscrewing the footer

Turn the machine to the side and unscrew the lower housings, they are screwed on 1 screw

The picture shows (very poorly on the film is better) as it grinds the roller rack, for our luck the other one is whole and you can repair your machine in an emergency.

We loosen 2 screws from the sprocket

After unscrewing, move the rack to the left by turning the wheel of the machine (it can put resistance to the rack, because they are oblique teeth and the rack could bake)

Now we have to set the teeth so that the needle meets the transporting teeth on an even line when the glider is going down, and the transport line is the retaining line (the transport claws also have to go down).

Turn the wheel of the machine towards you (in the opposite direction to the movement of the watch)
