Changing the looper Juki MEB3200SS
It is an industrial machine in which the most common failure is a cracked catcher.
Although it is really solidly made it has some weaknesses, and this weakness is just a cracking catcher. The machine generally has 4 hooks but usually only one breaks. It is so sensitive that it can break every time the needle breaks.
Enough theory and we’re getting to work.
We start with the photo of the plates, and to do this we push back the security and pull out the right one first
Then left. When inserting the plates in place, you need to find the paws marked in the picture.
Now you can see everything
We start by turning the knife to the left and blocking it so that it does not bother us (I put a screwdriver there), then we take off the spring from the upper hook (the note is easily lost).
Now we unscrew the screws marked in the picture and first turn off the upper one later, and then we can remove it
And it looks cracked and new
We must now set both loops. First put the lower one and set it at a distance of about 0.5 MM (millimeter) from the needle, you have to hold it because it spins when screwing.
Now set the top
We put a spring on the upper hook
The film, how it looks in practice
We thread the machine and we can put on the sheet and the end result is that
